Как включить SEO и mod_rewrite в Joomla Opensuse?
Одна из рекомендаций по оптимизации сайта на Joomla, включение SEO и mod_rewrite
Если вы попали на данную страничку, вы включили и возникли проблемы.
Включаем mod_rewrite в Apache
1. проверим - подгружается ли модуль rewrite
Создадим нашем сайте файл index.php с содержимым

phpinfo();
?>
Заходим броузером и видим
Если вы не увидели подгруженного модуля mod_rewrite
Идете в /etc/sysconfig/apache2
находите строку APACHE_MODULES и дописываете rewrite
У меня эта строк выглядит так:
APACHE_MODULES=" rewrite mod_ssl authz_host actions alias auth_basic authz_groupfile authn_file authz_user autoindex cgi dir include log_config mime negotiation setenvif status userdir asis imagemap php5 perl python authz_default"
2. Если mod_rewrite подгружается, идем в (у меня виртуальные хосты) /etc/apache2/vhosts.d/thin.kiev.ua.conf
находим:

#AllowOverride None
меняем на
AllowOverride All
3. Рестартуем Apache
4. Содержимое .htaccess лежащего в корне сайта

Основное, что должно быть раскоментированно:
RewriteEngine On
Options +FollowSymlinks
RewriteBase /
После внесенных изменений всё должно работать!
